I graduated from Scottsdale Community College with dual associates degrees in 1995, shortly after turning 16. I achieved of 3.21 through my SCC coursework, and a cumulative 3.03, inclusive of coursework from ages 14 and 15 at Palomar College (Escondido, California) and Mesa Community College (Mesa, Arizona), having transferred multiple times due to family moves.
Degree Purpose
The Associate in General Studies (AGS) degree is recommended for students whose educational goals require flexibility. The AGS allows students to apply any course numbered 100 or above, including some that are not transferable to a state university, toward the credits required for the degree.
